Palworld Ophydia Guide

Palworld Ophydia Location, Breeding Combination, and Drops

Few of the new Pal coming to Palworld Version 1.0 update on July 10, 2026, have captured the community's imagination quite like Ophydia. With her blooming lotus design already shown in teaser footage, she is definitely going to be one of the most visually striking additions the game has ever seen. In this guide, we'll cover where to find Ophydia out in the map, the breeding combinations you need to get her, and everything else you need to know once the update drops.

Ophydia Type and Overview

Ophydia, also referred to by the community as the Lotus Dragon, is one of the most highly anticipated new Pals coming in Version 1.0. She features an elegant, serpentine design that closely resembles a blooming lotus flower, with pink petals and a graceful presence.

Pocketpair's own description sets the tone beautifully: "Ophydia rests where quiet waters gleam, a blooming lotus in a silent dream. Petals of pink beneath the blue tinted skies, the fairest flower where the river lies."

Her exact type has not been confirmed, but Dragon is being heavily speculated.

Ophydia Location in Palworld?

We have attached a map below that outlines all the locations where you can find Venusa in Palworld.

If Ophydia turns out to be a Dragon-type Pal, late-game regions like the Astral Mountains and Mt. Obsidian are the most likely hunting grounds. Her water-based combat style also raises the possibility of a unique spawn near rivers or bodies of water. However, Pocketpair has not confirmed her exact locations yet.

How to Get Ophydia in Palworld?

Ophydia is a new Pal arriving in Palworld Version 1.0 on July 10, 2026. Full details on her exact spawn locations will be added once the update is live.

How to Beat Ophydia

Going in blind against Ophydia could get you hurt quickly. If the Dragon element holds up, you need to pack Ice-type Pals, since Dragon takes double damage from Ice, like Reindrix, Sibelyx, or Cryolinx. The bigger curveball is her signature move: she curls into a flower, disappears underwater, and detonates in a massive explosion. Keep moving and do not get caught flat-footed when she dips below the surface.

Steer clear of Dark-type Pals here. Dragon hits Dark for 2x damage, so they will be at a real disadvantage.

Full Pal Sphere tips and a proper combat breakdown will be added once Version 1.0 is out.

Can Ophydia Be Ridden?

Her serpentine build and the water-based movement glimpsed in teasers make a rideable mount feel plausible, whether that ends up being aquatic, aerial, or both. Nothing is confirmed yet. Check back after Version 1.0 launches on July 10, 2026.
